Summary:
Sales specialist for EVSE equipment L1 and L2 chargers.
The position will focus on B2B channels such as fleets, workplace charging and cities & municipalities.
Strong sales outreach will be required.
Strong technical background, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities while staying focused on sales growth.
Interest in learning and maintaining knowledge about the dynamic EV charging market will be required to sell successfully.
Proactive and creative individual who can work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities.
Daily use of Salesforce will be required to organize, track and follow-up on sales prospects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.
Conduct cold calls / sales outreach activities in the B2C and B2B space 2.
Daily use of Salesforce CRM - inputting, tracking, following-up on leads 3.
Weekly use of Salesforce CRM for tracking sales performance 4.
Traveling up to 25 days per year to attend conferences and trade shows 5.
Developing a particular sales channel and owning the responsibility for that channel's performance 6.
Additional Duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years' work experience.
A business, or Master's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
Background or affinity for selling technical products is a big plus.
Experience in automotive dealership sales, solar sales, or other technical products in the energy / automotive market would be preferred.
Basic finance skills that allow the individual to quickly judge if a sale is making business sense.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills that reflect the ability to speak to any customer on a wide range of technical products.
Knowledge and proficiency of:

Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM, etc.

Salesforce Ability to:
1) Learn about the EVSE market, its trends and developments while subsequently drawing conclusions from this to help sell more product successfully within our sales channels.
2) Understand and comfortably explain technical hardware and software features to customers while being able to draw conclusions on what product might suit the customer best.
3) Independently take a customer lead from the first contact phase, through to quotation and purchase order phase.
4) Work in a proactive, collaborative, and creative way to achieve targets more quickly and efficiently.
5) Work under pressure with frequent sales target tracking.
6) Interact and communicate comfortably and professionally with colleagues and customers at all levels and maintain good working relationships to achieve shared goals.
7) The ability to verbally express ideas in a way that is easily understood by others including delivering a presentation, giving accurate information, or acting as a spokesperson.
8) Be orderly, adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated, and work well on their own or as a member of a team.
9) Perform many tasks at once, and handle responsibilities that can change daily, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
10) Take responsibility and perform work utilizing independent judgment and initiative, making sound decisions and in developing solutions to problems facing our customers.
