CNC Mill Machinist II - Urgent Hire - Now Hiring
Set up and configure CNC milling 3-axis machines, including tool selection, and machine adjustments when needed.
Create, edit, send, and retrieve CNC programs from system files for milling machines to produce aerospace components according to blueprints and schematicsPerform in-process and final inspection to verify parts meet quality standards and tolerancesMaintain accurate records of set-up procedures, machining parameters, and quality control data.
Inspection and verification of production, before submission to the QA department for First Article Inspection Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4
years of relevant CNC Mill machine experience, technical school certification a plusProven experience in CNC Mill programs, including formatting and editing CAD/CAM is preferredFamiliarity with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM)Strong knowledge of Aerospace materials and machining processesProficiency in reading and interpreting Blueprints and schematics#CovinaWe will consider all qualified applicants for employment, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws including the City of Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative Hiring Ordinance.
