We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist who is searching to do what they'll love! Do you have experience in human resources and creating a great work environment? The ideal candidate to join our Monrovia, California office has at least 4-6 years of Human Resources experience, including employee engagement, employee relations, and current knowledge of standard HR practices.
High volume, multi-unit experience is helpful, and previous retail or grocery experience is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree is required.

The HR Generalist position provides proactive human resource consulting as a business partner to Regional Vice Presidents and Store leaders for approximately 60 Trader Joe's grocery stores.
Consults in all aspects of human resources, including employment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, ADA accommodations, leave management, and benefits.
Relies on judgment and experience.

s and Store leaders on HR policies, their interpretation, and application.
Ensure the Company's compliance with laws affecting employment.
Work with the HR Team to create and communicate best practices.
Provide guidance on Crew Member (Employee) relations matters.
Oversee records and documentation for specific regions.
Manage the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Conduct HR training for Store leaders.
Review internal procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
Assist with leaves of absence.
Participate in special projects as assigned.
Maintain an area of specialty.
