Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Provides direct supervision for site EHS personnel, including objective setting, performance management, motivating, training, and coaching. Leads EHS self-assessments and/or audits.  Acts as a facility representative during inspections by agencies including but not limited to: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), fire department, and county. Communicates effectively in written and oral forms with peers and other employees of varying levels within the organization.  Presents ideas well one-on-one, in small groups, and to larger audiences.  Can convey the meaning and importance of EHS topics to non-EHS personnel and to influence others to take appropriate action based on such information.  Ownership of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001 Program and the site's environmental permits and regulatory compliances.  Completes internal and external EHS compliance reports and analyzes EHS data and report trends.  Recommends plans for correction of gaps and provides EHS input to address change.  Remains current in the latest applicable legislation and research on environmental protection and regulatory compliance. Responsible for the facility in achieving our Global Safety and Health Plan (GSHP), Global Environmental Management Self-Assessment (GEMSA), and global environmental management system goals and compliance. Initiates, participates in, and develops EHS projects to continuously improve EHS efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness. Basic Qualifications:  Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution Minimum of five (5) years of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) experience in a private, public, government or military environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in science, engineering, EHS or related discipline from an accredited institution Supervisory and/or Management experience Self-starter with strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (oral, written and presentation) Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects Strong team building skills, the ability to set and achieve priorities, strong organization skills, attention to detail and a sense of urgency ISO 14001 experience Microsoft Office proficient, Wonderware a plus R00958533

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
